Blogging as cause of death
The business publication “brandeins” dedicates its current issue to blogging on a double-page spread. In december a prominent blogger - Marc Orchant - died of a heart attack. The reason is named to be stress caused by overwork. Another not less prominent fellow blogger, Om Malik, experienced a heart attack as well, surviving it. In their story “brandeins” deals with the question, if blogging (- meaning fulltime blogging -) creates an increased health risk. The pressure from readers demanding new information, the wish to present announcements as first and the neccessity of refunding through advertisement by means of high traffic, surround the blogger with constantly growing stress situations. At the end of the article a few more interesting numbers are published, which briefly sketch the blogging market. Therefore there are approx. 2600 blogs, which offer more than 1000 references, 400,000 blogs with more than 20 references and approx. 100 million blogs with less than 20 references. This may sound frustrating to many, although the motivation of the individual blogger should always be seen as well. We for example operate Talkingblog to show customers that we look outside the box and are contact persons for various challenges in advertising and internet.

Contributions will be newly converted
When poorly pronounced words are reported to us. The blogger must not react. As soon as we have improved the word on our side, the entire thread will be newly converted and therefore the pronounciation improved!

From now on the Talkingblog is also readable on your cell phone, even without having to constantly scroll horizontically. Thanks to a plugin all threads are readable. In the near future this version will be completed by Talkingtext, so that you have the choice between „reading“ and „listening“.

Talkingtext: Automatic recognition of english words in german text
The concept of this matter exists in my mind and we are starting to code. The aim is the automatic recognition of english terms in german text and their pronounciation in the english language. For now the only exception is an english word which simultaneously exists in german and is spelled in the exact way (i.e. the word - Computer).

Wordpress Plugin Talkingtext - updated version without background music
Yesterday we decided to remove the background music. This way the heard, respectively experienced quality actually turns out even more ideal. Funny, but at the beginning I had the exact opposite opinion. Perhaps it is because of the new converting software, which is already running and which we have improved.
